The Trip of a Lifetime

I recently took a trip to Yellowstone National Park, and it was an experience of a lifetime. Yellowstone sits on top of the largest active volcano in the world. It was fascinating. I got to share the experience with my cousins and family friends, we all had a blast. We saw so many bison, too many bison. There was also bears and elk and moose. It was amazing to see all the animals in their natural habitat, it was like watching a nature documentary, live. There was also a moment where we all saw a herd of bison crossing the river in a rain storm. You will never see that anywhere else. Seeing America is my favorite thing to do. I suggest that you guys get out there! See America!

Lets Have a Party

This card is so cute. As a crafter, I find this card so adorable, and so easy to make. All you need is some A4 card, and some different colors of card stock and some twine.

The Sounds Of Music

"music warms the soul; as well as teaching it."

Trash to Treasure

You will never again throw away old soup cans! This craft is super cute, and super easy. All you will need is: - 6 soup cans -6 pieces of scrapbook paper - a hot glue gun 1. take the labels off of your soup cans. (make sure you wash them first!) 2. measure the height and the circumference of your cans. 3. using those measurements, cut each of your papers. 4. wrap them around your cans and glue them in place. 5. to begin assembling, take three of your cans and glue them together. 6. next, take only two cans and glue them together. 7. finally, glue the last one in between the join of the last two we glued. 8. let dry and then fill the cans with anything! yes, anything good luck ~ Hailey

What is Kale?

Kale is one of the seven super foods there are out there. It is packed full of everything from protein to antioxidants. It is perfect for salad, or for me, i love it sautéed in lemon... so good. Kale chips are also very popular. They are an excellent sub for those crunchy, greasy chips that we crave. The next time you are at your local grocery store, pick up some kale. You'll be happy you did.

So this is Me

On the Contrary

Life as a teenager. Living in the shadows of all the popular girls who all the guys like, and get all the attention. Their hair is always perfect, makeup pristine, how do they pull it off? Oh contraire, I am not one of them. Reading a good book, playing some records all suit my fancy. To homecoming, I wore a twenties inspired Betsy Johnson number, while everyone else wore short, tacky silk unoriginals. I like being different. Even though sometimes it bothers me, why couldn't I have chosen this life? Or why is my hair not perfectly straight without trying? I have alot of beauty tricks that make life easier, but also make me stand out from the crowd. For example, my favorite is eyeshadow. I can never go wrong with it. I love bold dramatic colors, like blues and golds(which are perfect for summer) Today, I am wearing 5 different shades of brown on my lids, with pink and gold under the lower lash line. Fabulous. Its fun and easy. Also, since its summer, neons are totally in. I have gotten into colour blocking in these past couple of months, and I have found that you cant go wrong. Any color goes this summer. Try it out. today, I am wearing turquoise Gap shorts with a neon pink Jcrew top. My nails are painted mint and turquoise. It works. i love this new trend, it is sooo easy to pull it off. Good Luck. ~ Hailey

My New Lifestyle

I love me new diet plan. Not exactly that I need to loose weight, I just needed to get in better shape. I am on the paleo diet, which is sort of like an ancient diet. It is also called the "caveman diet" as well. Involved in the diet are salads, nuts, meats and fruits. I exercise daily, and I eat healthy each meal, the diet is all and all the best for me. I wouldn't like to call it a diet exactly, it is more of my lifestyle. Feel free to ask questions.

My Introduction of Sorts

My passions are sooo set in place. I have dedicated my life (which hasn't been very long) to fashion, makeup etc. but mostly, to help others. I wanted to create this blog to show what I'm all about, when it comes to the way I'm living. I have a very unique personality, if I must say so. I'm not your average  15 year old. I'll walk down the street wearing Gap printed board shorts and a mint JCrew top with my favorite vintage riding boots. Oh, and you can't forget some jewelry I got on a recent trip to Jerome, AZ. I don't really admire the fashion scene with young girls today. Booty shorts and crop tops with converse are sooo overrated. I choose the classics. Dresses, vintage jewelry, chiffon. It's all there. Hope you enjoy what I have to offer here. ~ Hailey
